Talking among themselves watching the on goings Daichi, Hiroto and Shin turned to Baxter and nodded. "She is good - with the beasts." Agreed Daichi and the three men shared a look. The big one was impressive... but to be so needlessly aggressively self destructive, is that a genetic fault they would like passed on?

Each man was a scientist, but none into genetics. "Perhaps you girl would speak to us about whether to house ours in with either for now? After all if she hurt profits could be severely damaged." Hiroto spoke up to Baxter finally including him again into their light chatter among themselves as they had been watching.

For the assistants there was however little they had to do for the moment so they stood back to play cards and keep an eye on the two still crated turtles and wait if the intern needed them to help with the big fellow... and judging by the blood smears they just may.

~

There was that sensation - that feeling of 'belonging' again as her arms tightened about his shoulders, bending her knees and letting herself slid down him so she was kneeling with him now as his own arms having closed the embrace.

Her eyes found his even if those golden orbs were not focused on her right now and noted the glossy glassy look they took on. "It's not your fault Raphael," She lets her head rest against his shoulder - just to further share whatever warmth and comfort she could, hoping she did give him even the tiniest measure. She turns her head too towards the two grates... well one grate, the other his brothers transport cage and here her breath would wash over his pulse, and she could speak just for his ear alone. "He is not hurt, drugged yes... but no spears or arrows..." She consoles gently. "I know it's scary and it seems hopeless... but we'll find a way out of this." a soft promise, that she was planning, scheming...

"I will move him closer to talk to you... though will you let me wash and fix you up first?" She asks gently not moving her head away but waiting for his eyes to come back to hers and his consent.

Donatello: A girl? Don's eyes widened when he found out the one in the cage was female and then he heard someone say that they were to be paired up. Wouldn't that mean...no, it couldn't be. People wanted to destroy them, not...make more of them. At least that was the impression Don always had on when humans got their hands on one of them. And Don wanted no part of this, anyway.

Don turned his attention to his brother who just said he was sorry. He was sorry? What for? He shook his head. "I'm the one that should be apologizing, Raph. You have no idea how badly I have wanted to talk to you. Especially after..." then he trailed off, and glanced at the scientists in the room, not wanting to go into details with so many strangers around. He figured Raph knew what he meant anyway. "Something always came up. "I'm sorry."
He was extremely grateful this girl was able to bring Raph down to a manageable level. That was quite the feat as far as his brother was concerned. But they were far from out of the woods yet. Don was still extremely worried about the blood loss and the added damage to Raph's last rampage made things even worse.

Raphael: Nictating eyelids finally rolling back to expose more blood-shot and pained eyes, Raphael spared a glance at his brother as he spoke, partly wishing that it was just the two of them because it had been so long, knowing so much needed to be spoken. He was still unaware that his brother now knew about the Love incident.. and had he known, gah.. there weren't enough apologies in the world to take that away. If only he had been in his right mind, he never would have acted on it. Would his brother fully believe that? Then came Erica's comment, followed by questions and he could only give a weak nod, not fully trusting his voice right now. He just wanted the scientists and the help to go away! Their gawking and judgmental eyes seemed to burn into his very soul, and he had yet to take note of the female of their species. She was on the other side of Donnie and out of sight for the moment. "Yeah." He finally answered, finally meeting her gaze.

Mei Pieh Chi: Mei was quiet, trying to observe and take everything in She could not see Raphael from her current spot, but could hear his voice and the sorrow there. From what she gathered, both were new captives. She remembered that fear all too well, and how you would do anything to escape. Desperation. Sadly, that never went away but you sort of came to accept that it was your fate, and your life was not your own. That didn't mean that she had given up, but she had a strong understanding that...she would most likely die in a cage, or strapped to some cold metal table. At least these boys had each other. Upon her capture, and even now, she had no one.

Erica: Did not know if she was helping him, or comforting or any of it right now. But those topaz colored eyes came back to her own and she gives a small nod. "Then come... come..." She shifts to initiate them returning tot heir feet and looks at the two that had helped her earlier. "I need the dental cement again, the first aid kit... and uh... Doctor Stockman I will need concentration so may I ask yous to please... leave?" Hesitating having not forgotten the man threatened her career earlier. Not that she cared, if she could she'd walk out right now - but.... no she could not... the time for walking out had past. Long past. "Come..." A small motion of hip towards the aquariums back corner in a shadowed space where a area of grating was for the purpose of well toilet and a steady stream of water.

Baxter (Exchange Scientists) Her galred towards his intern... but her tone was not as bossy as previously and he was a little mollified she called him by his title. That's right know you place girl. He sighs and huffs looking to the three Japanese money. "Come I'll show you too the labs over night rooms if you wish to stay close to your investment here, otherwise I know the best of the best locations near by... and as to your question Erica will be at your services entirely, whatever that may be." Throwing a dark grin back at the intern with all the promise of 'or else' in it leading the men out with him as the two assistants also hurried off to fetch what was needed - they did not mind as long as they did not have to touch the big scary one!

Raphael: The fact that Raphael wasn't tearing himself up any worse was testament to her calming ability on him. Otherwise.. there would probably be nothing left of his shell... or sanity. And the big scary Turtle was self-aware enough to realize the hold she seemed to have on him.. and that terrified him to no end. Any form of attachment to the opposite sex usually ended in heartbreak.. or in the case of Mikko and Love.. being uses. But he knew, Erica was nothing like that. She wanted nothing from him and at best, this was an April sort of relationship... on her end. Another nod, and he struggled to his feet and followed, still trying to swallow the fact that Baxter had designed these damn prisons like a kid's fish tank. It made him sick, the way they disregarded them, writing them off as nothing but animals. "Sorry... you.. keep havin' ta patch me up..." He sniffled, a lone tear rolling down his cheek, but he was quick to brush it away. Those motherfuckers in the white coats would not have the pleasure of seeing him at his weakest...

Donatello Don felt so helpless right now. He wanted nothing more than to be at his brother's side, but it was no use. The cage was constructed well enough that he couldn't break out. At least his strength was returning because he was able to carry on a conversation by now. He was still very weak, though. Then he thought of a question he had asked earlier but never got an answer before all hell broke loose. "Where did you get the blood?"

Erica She did not turn her back on Raph, keeping the eye contact, a hand taking his. The other reaching to stop his and instead wiping the cheek for him shaking her head, "I am only sorry you are in such pain..." her gaze sincere. Stepping backwards, all the way to the darker corner - stepping out of the heels as they moved so she would know when they reached the grating and back herself towards the trickle of water "Leatherhead supplied the blood." She answers Donatello - then they were there and her eyes closed for a moment involuntarily in a shuddered, full bodied gasp as the cool trickle splashed onto her head and shoulder but she keeps moving to draw him under it.

Melissa: " It's you humans that are the monsters here not the turtles! All of you deserve to be ripped apart!" Mel yelled at the scientists beyond pissed that they wouldn't see what was in right front of them.

Baxter (Exchange Scientists) Baxter ignores the silly girl and stops the assistants on the way past on the return arms full of thing. "When your done take this brat to her final destination then return here." He commands them grinning at his japanese fellows nodding to Mel. "A project I am working on in bioengineering, the melding of flesh and machine. Results have been... unpredictable and not always successful..." he explains making the three men oooh and ahhh in response and then all study the teen in interest.

Melissa: " Fuck you Stockass! Is that what you see me and the turtles as nothing but experiments?! We're not and you're gonna go down!" Mel yelled at Stockman growling and glaring at anyone that got to close.

Raphael: This whole situation sucked, but Raphael was grateful that she was here, and for the darkness that the far corner provided.. out of sight of the prying eyes. And as gestured by Erica, stepped beneath the water, shocked by the coldness and shivering ever so slightly, but trying to tolerate it, to allow the blood to roll from his flesh and fractured shell. Mainly hairline fractures, with a few of the tips of the marginal scutes being broken and bleeding. He took a deep breath, trying to ease out the tension, but it was evident that would remain.

Donatello: Don nodded. Okay, that was good. Leatherhead was a mutant, so at least they paid enough attention to that detail. He sighed heavily and turned back to the girl in the cage next to him. "My name is Donatello. What's yours?" He gave her a warm smile, sensing she was very uneasy about this whole situation. Heck, so was he...and Raph. But for now they had to bide their time until they could figure a way out.

Erica: She knew Raph was tense... and it would just cause all his ache to hurt more. And she did not know if it would work but she gave him the space beneath the water for a moment - the cool of it would slow his blood loss at least through is new injuries and those he'd reopened - her hands moving away from him for a moment to rip her dresses length a bit more, the soft cloth in her hands as she kneels again to start, using the soft cloth to wash off the blood and little flecks of sammy tissue from those legs first using her knowledge of anatomy to move along the muscles slowly upwards - intending to clean, cool, calm and lightly massage that tension out - at least for a little while. And she knew Donatello and the other were not at ease either.... a french song popped into her head and she hums - soft for Raph, low so Donatello and the female could talk... fingers dedicating themselves to those calves. Obviously she was not at all repulsed by his skin.

Baxter (Exchange Scientists) the men and Baxter ignore the brats whining and mutter amongs themselves and Baxter in low tones, adding here and there. The assistants went unnoticed mostly by those in the aquarium room and were back and take Mel firmly by each arm, frog marching her away once Stockman and the three men backed up.

Melissa: " Let me go!" The young teen yelled putting up a struggle squirming and desperately pulling away from the men to get loose. She wasn't strong but she could squirm.

Mei Pieh Chi: Mei was trying her best to get comfortable, but considering that there was absolutely no space, it was a difficult feat. Not to mention, she was starving. She was still observing, trying to get a feel of everything, concluding by the accents of most of the people/ mutants here, it was definitely the US, but just where.. she had no idea. Then the male with the pretty deep brown eyes spoke to her again, earning a small blush that would probably go unseen when he introduced himself. It had been so long since she had been regarded by a name and not a number, she had to think. And then.. she remembered. And knowing what her name meant now made her self-conscious since the scientists had talked down to her, called her an ugly beast. And the low self-esteem had remained with her ever since being attacked by a group a teenage boys when she was just a child. How cruel they had been. "I.. do not have a name.." Because she could not find the esteem to regard herself with the name her father had given her. "But yours is very lovely."

Donatello: "Thanks." Don smiled at the compliment, trying to scoot in the cage a little to see her better, but it was no use. So, instead he wanted to get her more comfortable around him and asked for one request, moving his own hand out towards her. "Can I see your hand?" He just was curious if she was also a turtle.

Raphael: Gah.. and those fingers were working wonders. The fear and uncertainty would remain, but the aches in his muscles became a little less as those heavenly fingers moved over his muscles, cleaning and massaging... an exhale of pent up tension and a soft, low churr rattled deep in his chest, despite it all, a verbal display of gratitude and a tinge of contentment.. the beast became putty beneath her touch..

Baxter (Exchange Scientists) Ben and Jerry ignore Mel - of course. Not entirely unfeeling to the girls blight, as they had not been to the big red turtles and that was partly why they let the intern direct them. That and they were laser jockeys mostly so the care of these beasts was beyond them and none had the courage to deal with them. Baxter and the Japanese men followed slowly still talking excitedly about the promise of infusing biology with engineering

Mei Pieh Chi: Mei was slightly taken aback by the request, but thinking about it, he probably couldn't see her thanks to the boards of the rate. He was probably equally as curious about her as she was of him. Her gaze took in the offered hand, noting the similarities with the exception of his being larger, and callused. After a moment of hesitation, a smaller, feminine replica slid between the boards, her soft fingertips brushing his before resting her palm against his...

Erica: And the the hum became her voice raising it just a little, just a tad, hands cleaning knees and then up over those thighs knowing the inner sides where more sensitive so the massage would focus along here, hearing his churr and glancing up wards to see what she could of Raphael's face and eyes - her eyes human not so good in this darkened corner, her face though was warm and expression gentle. "J'en vois des qui se donnent, donnent Des bijoux dans le cou..." The song was a sweet diddy, and though she did not speak french she could sing it.

Donatello: Don smiled. It was a female turtle. Just like them! And he never expected for her to touch his hand like this. "Wow." His smile widened then met her eyes again. "If you could pick any name for yourself, what would you choose?"

Raphael: His knees almost buckled when her fingers came into contact with his inner thighs.. god. did she have any idea how amazing that felt? And the innocent expression on her features as she sang, her voice Angelic and out of place in this hell. But at least there was one thing positive in this situation. His churrs became deeper, causing slight discomfort in his injured throat, but it was automatic, no controlling, contentment conveyed in a gentle nuzzle against her head...

Mei Pieh Chi: A small tinge of excitement, feeling his skin beneath hers. It had been so long since she had any form of contact, and to know that he didn't feel disgust then they touched. She allowed her hand to stay there, for as long as he would tolerate, noting the texture and the roughness amongst the pads of his palms. "I.. have not thought much about that." She answered honestly. "It did not matter, because to them, I will always be a number.."

Erica: "C'est beau mais quand même Ce n'sont que des cailloux..." her fingers moved along those inner thighs literally feeling his almost buckle... and she pressed the touch a little deeper into muscles, encourgament to yes buckle if he had to - thumbs reaching the junction that would lead to his tail but pausing as fingers worked still, her eyes on his tilting her face up inviting more nuzzling cheeks a little pink... wanting some sign of his okay before proceeding to clean along his tail. "Des pierres qui vous roulent, roulent Et qui vous coulent sur les joues..."

Donatello: Her touch felt amazing. Don had no intention of letting it end until they were physically separated. He not only did it because it felt good, but he also wanted to be the one thing in that room that didn't seem so scary. He could tell she hesitated before revealing her hand to him so that told Don she had a hard life. Her always being referred as a number also didn't sit well with him. "Well, you're not just a number anymore. Not to me, at least. You deserve a really beautiful name." He could feel himself blushing, but at the moment, he could care less. He just wanted her as comfortable as he could make her. Unfortunately the cage wouldn't allow true comfort, but a smile, gentle voice, and even a gentle touch could go a long way.

Raphael: Raphael did not understand what she was saying, but that didn't matter. The sound of her voice was soothing, and those amazing fingers, the way they worked their magic and conjuring feelings he had never experienced before. Not just lust but... attachment. Because she had shown him nothing but kindness. The part of human nature that was rarely expressed, except for April. And now Erica, but there was something more Like she was the breath in his lungs and the power of heartbeat.. everything vital that had been missing before and just knowing her, he couldn't turn back. When her fingers reached the junction and paused, almost as if asking permission, it was instantly granted. Long, thick tail dropped from hiding, blood-soaked in dripping red from his busted shell. Still nuzzling, churring softly. Just wishing it all away but this.. this part to remain...

Mei Pieh Chi: For once, Mei was relieved that her crate was dark and seeing her facial expressions was nearly impossible. Donatello's compliments earned a deep, radiating blush in tern and she was equally glad that he had yet to retract his hand. This was the first form of comfort she had experienced in a very long time. The first act of kindness from anyone other than her father. So maybe the world wasn't so terrible, after all. "You are very kind, Donatello. What.. what would you call me, if you were to give me a name?"

Erica: her voice shoook just a little, more of a breathy moment between words as his nuzzles continued, those churrs! - it was not the water that caused gooseflesh to rise along her skin. "J'aime mieux que tu m'aimes Sans dépénser tes sous..." letting her lips brush against his skin - preceded only by her breath. And permissing grant her hands showed the same gently cleansing massage to his tail as they had his legs, thumbs ever so careful over cloacal lids. "Moi je m'en moque, J'envoie valser les trucs en toc"

Raphael: And Raph had to struggle to remain upright the moment her thumbs ever so gently massaged and worked at cleaning his tail. His knees wobbled and he tried to brace himself against the wall, churrs becoming more throaty and deep, trying not to expose.. gah! She had to understand how sensitive tat certain part of his anatomy was.. or could she really know? "Mmm.." An involuntary moan, gaze meeting hers with a slight blush irrupting on his pale cheeks...

Donatello: Don considered this carefully. She deserved something both beautiful and meaningful. One name kept coming up that would be perfect for her. "How about Venus -- after the Roman Goddess?" He found it especially fitting for a few different reasons but she didn't need to know all of them right away.

Erica: oh Erica knew, and her fingers were ever light thumbs knowingly pressing just so carefully. Her own cheeks were warm and flushed and lips a little dark, but still close to his skin eyes on his. Encouraging... "Les cages dorées Toi quand tu m'serres très fort C'est comme un trésor Et ça, et ça vaut de l'or ..." voice again trembling though words at his moan.

Mei Pieh Chi: Mei watched him closely as he concentrated, appreciating the fact that he thought enough of her to actually do something as meaningful as present her with a name. And then he spoke, suggesting such a beautiful name, and apparently after a Goddess? Her cheeks couldn't have achieved a deeper shade of red and she smiled softly, genuinely appreciative. "A ..Goddess? Venus- I like that very much." Her English was still not the best in the world and there was certainly an accent there. "Thank you, Donatello."

Donatello: Don was ecstatic that she liked her name. He grinned and tried to hold more of her hand, shifting a little in his cage to do so. "You're very welcome...Venus." He couldn't wait to see her in all her beauty. He couldn't help but smile every time he heard her voice.

Raphael: And she continued that delicious tease and as far as he knew, she was unaware and innocent to exactly what it was doing to him. That sensation coupled with her scent triggered that part of him that he'd tried so desperately to contain. Nictating eyelids began to flutter, but he fought, fearing what he could do to her. He stumbled back, weak from blood loss and injuries, he tumbled back, landing underneath the artificial waterfall, the cold water cascading over his trembling form.. and he gazed up at her, giving an apologetic look, ashamed that he had no control and his body reacted in such a way..

Erica Her hands freed from his tail now... He seemed... Apologetic, ashamed? - but why? She shakes her head and moves closer again, reminding him she hopped with a light brush of fingers over his spot, that she was not afraid. Hands resuming, tail clean now they moved along his plastron, less a massage here so light just to rub, clean and find with fingers as her eyes still held those golden ones - the newest patches she had to cement. He song light, wet now, sticking the dress to her body. " J'en vois des qui s'lancent des regards et des fleurs Puis qui s'laissent quelque part ou ailleurs Entre les roses et les choux J'en connais des tas qui feraient mieux,"

Mei Pieh Chi: And she could see just how happy it made him to give her such a beautiful and thoughtful name. He was adorable. And she wondered what he would think of her, if he cold fully see her. When he shifted to better hold her hand, her fingers shyly threaded through his, having always wondered what it would feel like to do such a thing. How very similar, yet different. The contentment that such a simple gesture brought her. "You possess the hands of a warrior.." She noted softly. "I am sorry that you are in this situation.." But she was not sorry that she had met him...

Raphael: If only she knew just how close she had come to triggering the beast, perhaps she would fear him as the scientists now did. But thee was no fear there, and there seemed to be confusion as to why he was so silently apologetic. Breath hitching, struggling to steady it as his eyes returned to normal. Though briefly, giving into the light touch to his 'spot' before she began working on his plastron. He shifted enough to avoid the bone-chilling 'waterfall', but made no effort to right himself just yet, his gaze locked with hers, in almost a trance, falling.. in more ways than one...

Donatello Don grinned. "Ninja to be precise." Words couldn't express how much he enjoyed holding her hand. And he wasn't a bit sorry he had met her. "Yeah, so am I. With you." He sighed, shaking his head. "I hope things haven't been too horrible for you lately." He noted her accent and just had to ask, "Did you come from Japan?"

Erica: did he not recall she had seen - and still felt no fear of the 'beast' ? LH had shown more than one that side to here, he... Like Raph could not so easily frighten her... She shifts kneeling so to block the chilled water from him fingers moving up his sides - so light knowing where to touch to release tension and sooth, leaning in to press a light kiss to his snout her song slowly it would end.. "De s'aimer un peu Un peu comme nous qui nous aimons beaucoup..." not looking away at all as she works...

Mei Pieh Chi: And the feeling was certainly mutual. The excitement she felt over having physical contact couldn't be put into words. It was quite powerful, and she could feel his energy. So kind and polite.. passive and thoughtful. much like her in many ways. It couldn't have been coincidence that they had met. No... she didn't believe in such things. And she was impressed that he was a ninja. Such an interesting soul for sure. "I am.." And her blush was probably evident, even in her tone. "Is my English bad?"

Donatello Don let out a breathy chuckle, shaking his head. "No, not at all." Then he smiled warmly at her. "I love the sound of your voice." Yes, he was blushing hardcore now but he didn't care.

Raphael: And the light touches continued, up his sensitive side.. not that he was complaining. He was under control... for now... or so he thought. Until she kissed his snout and something seemed to snap, but not the uncontrollable beast that could have hurt her.. no. Something else. That yearning and longing to belong.. and she seemed to show all the signs of acceptance. And those lips so close, so comforting.. what the hell- he was probably going to die soon anyway. Mustering up courage, his lips met hers, silencing her song, one hand moving up, unsteady and unsure, fingers gently tangling in her hair...

Mei Pieh Chi: And she was blushing just as intensely as him. "And I enjoy the sound of yours too, Donatello. I cannot tell you how long it has been since I have heard such kindness. You possess a soul like none other I have encountered before..." Her cheeks became even redder, and she gave his hand a gentle but meaningful squeeze. "I am so glad that I met you..." And maybe she didn't understand the full weight of why she was here, but at least she had known kindness before leaving this earth.

Erica: her fingers had just began over his shoulders, those massive shoulders, then fingers just rest for a second her heart thudding - she had never kissed anything but her GranGran and Dad before.. And not like this! But... There was a muffled gasp opening her lips against his fingers sliding over skin to cup the back of his head draw him closer thumb tickling his spot. Scent heated with excitement.

Raphael: She didn't pull away as he feared she would.. good! And she was mindful enough to keep contact with his spot, preventing him from going full beast on her. He was grateful for that, and wondered if it could work... if it could keep him from the edge.. keep him grounded. Churrs deepened as did the kiss, taking it as acceptance. It lingered for what felt like an eternity before he reluctantly allowed her to come up for air. Humans couldn't hold their breaths as long as Turtles, he had to remind himself. Now his gaze met hers, searching, seemingly lost for the moment. "I... I've been dyin' to do that.. from the moment I met you..." He admitted. "Before I die... I.. I had to..."

Donatello: Don's blush only deepened at her compliment. "Really?" He wasn't used to such a compliment himself. All his life he was told he was boring and no one could understand him. Of course, Don hadn't gone into his 'geek mode' around her yet. He wondered what she would think if he did. He had a good feeling that she wouldn't consider him a freak in the way his brothers did. However, once they got older, Don's contributions were much more appreciated. Thank goodness for that! Don glanced down at their joined hands at her squeeze and returned it. "I'm very glad to meet you too, Venus."

Erica: she had to pant just a tad to catch her breath and felt a small grin etch her lips as she did so fingers on the back of his head drawing a light circle, the flush all the way down her neck across her chest and breast tops eyes on his brightened by the color in her cheeks, "had I known, I would have asked you too," admitting herself now this attraction.. Still breathless ... admitting more, "that was my first kiss..."

Mei Pieh Chi: "Really." Mei confirmed, giving a smile that she hoped would break through the darkness. Now, she really wished that he could see her. Such a marvelous soul and how fortunate she was to have met him. Ironic, it seemed. But she had always been taught to see the good in any bad situation. And up until now.. she had no reason. Donatello had no idea that he had given her a way to honor her father. He was the light in the darkness, and he probably had no idea. She noted all of the gadgets that seemed to riddle his body, but she would not ask about them yet. Perhaps an opportunity would come later, but for now.. questions with substance. "I caught a glimpse of another earlier. The one in the tank... is he your brother?"

Donatello: Don's eyes returned to hers at her question and nodded. "Yes, he is one of my older brothers." Don turned his attention to his brother's tank, not knowing what was going on at the moment, but things seemed pretty calm. Which was a very good thing. Then he turned back to Mei, smiling. "One of three brothers, actually."

Raphael: Hearing her confession made him feel a tinge of guilt, but remembering her earlier statement.. had she known, that kiss would have happened earlier. So.. there was no regrets on her end, and certainly not on his. And for the first time during this whole ordeal, he managed a weak smile and nuzzled a kiss against her forehead. "I.. hope I didn't disappoint..." And he met her gaze.. "And that was my first 'real' one, too.." Because he couldn't remember anything that happened with Mikko and Love, if there had been any kind of kissing and if so, it meant nothing now....

Mei Pieh Chi: Mei's attention also shifted to the tank, or, what she could see of it anyway. But she could feel it. The tension that had felt much like a hurricane earlier had subsided, giving into a calmness.. and something more. Her gaze shied away, deciding this was one of those times that she could certainly know too much. Hearing that not only did Donatello have a brother, but three.. she smiled, genuinely curious. "Oh? And you are one of the youngest?" It was a guess, really. But Donatello had the demeanor of a younger sibling. "You are fortunate, Donatello. I have always wanted siblings. It was not easy growing up, being the only of my kind..." And never one to leave things on a grim note.. "But then I find out that I am not the only one. Even though things seem hopeless, I cannot express how happy it makes me, to know that I am not the only one..."

Erica: "nooo - it was... beautiful" his nuzzles made her eyes half drift close for a few moments then widen to met his again thumb just circling the spot this time tracing lightly down his throat. "Likewise I hope to be no disappointment and honored to be... Your first real one" her own grin widening a little at the sight of his. Mindful not to shift her weight closer as he was still very hurt -

Donatello: Don was blushing again. He just couldn't stop. "Yeah. I'm the second-youngest," he told her, looking at their hands once more. "I do consider myself fortunate - in more ways than one now." Then he met her gaze once more, smiling broadly. "I can't wait to see all of you once you get out of there." He figured he would be going into his own aquarium soon but if he had a choice, he would take Mei with him. Just to hold and keep her mind on more positive things. Plus, he wanted to know so much more about her.

Raphael: Relief knowing that there was no regrets on either end and his attempts had not been a disappointment. How amazing she was. So loving and caring and... how attached he had become in such a short amount of time. It was scary in a way, but what if she could truly love him? His mind was racing, and he wondered if it was due to his fear of dying without knowing what it was like. To give into what he felt was forbidden before? He craned his neck, giving her better access to his spot, neverminding the slight discomfort from the stitched arrow wound. Churring in contentment, but catching a glimpse of his brother's 'cage' and knowing he could not be comfortable in there... "Are they gonna keep Donnie in there..?" And he had yet to notice the crate beside his brother, containing the female who's sole purpose here was to... produce...

Erica: shifting, pressing a light kiss, just a brush of lips where her fingers had brushed Erica answered. "No he will go into the tank next to yours," and distaste for the word tank dripping as obvious as the way she enjoyed the vibration of churrs shifting so the cool length of her torso rested against his, very very light, so not to hurt him. "After I patch you I'll move him... And get her something more comfortable too..." Lifting her eyes back to his face. Knowing now something shed know all day long. She loved him.

Mei Pieh Chi: Matching his blushing with equal ferocity, Mei couldn't help but smile at his sweetness. It was amazing how his kindness could restore her will to carry on. Sure, she had never actually given up, the thought had been there, lingering just below the surface. He restored her will, perhaps without even realizing it. Absently tracing the veins in his hand, giving it a small squeeze. "I cannot wait to get out of here.." And she hoped that her appearance wouldn't disappoint. She had become accustomed to being called ugly but now to be among her own, perhaps her esteem could be restored.

Don had hoped he didn't sound too desperate when he said he wanted to see all of her.  But, heck.  He was tired of being in this cage!  It was just barely big enough to turn around in and with all his gear on, plus his shell, it was really crammed.  Right now, he would definitely take that tank over this thing any day.  He continued holding Mei's hand, lightly running his thumb over her knuckles.  He kept eye contact with her as  he told her they should be out of these cages soon enough.  Don just hoped that Mei would be able to stay in his.  Not that he would do anything, because that wasn't his plan, but just to offer her some extra comfort and someone to talk to.

Raphael held her as closely as he could, enjoying the warmth that her body provided and how she miraculously gave him a tinge of hope, even though things looked dark and unpromising. And then it hit him, Erica mentioned something about 'her', and he remembered segments of what the scientists had mentioned when he was fading in and out of consciousness. Something about a female Turtle... "So.. she's real?"

She was enjoying his little acts of comfort, lost in his gaze, and blushing profusely when she felt that she was staring too long. This was all new to her.. this form of contact, and the kindness and comfort that he offered.  She spared a glance in the direction of the larger Turtle's tank, still seeing nothing, but picking up on the energy there. Still calm for the moment and she hoped for everyone's sake, it would remain that way. "I think your brother is okay now. His anxiety level is not good.." And that was pretty obvious. Without intervention, it was evident that the larger Turtle would have beat himself to death trying to break out of that glass.

*her hands finally resumed the work over his shoulders - she had not forgotten in the midst of the incredible feeling of being embrace just so and the new wash of emotions that she was tending to his cleanliness before moving onto drying and patching him. She nods. "Yes. I have not had a chance to see her yet, but one you and Donnie are... comfortable and can talk more freely as I know yous need to - I'll get to know her and try and make her comfortable too -" Her voice dropped, sad and regretful. "I wish I could just lets yous go... but with you so hurt and Donie drugged yous would not get far..." apologetic hating he was in here, that Don would be in the next Tank and that female... "Come... to the solar lamps to dry." She was shivering, the warmth of the embrace warring with the chill of the moisture on her body and the cold of her dress.

So it was true, and Raphael hated that fact.. for the Turtle girl. What the scientists planned on doing to her would be considered rape in the human world, but because they were 'Turtles'. they had no choice. And Raph worried about being triggered around her, so he couldn't with confidence say that he wouldn't act... and that scared him to no end. But maybe.. just maybe the stress of being in this place would keep him from being triggered in that sense. When she suggested moving to the solar lamps, he gave a small nod and reluctantly untangled himself from her, heading in that direction. Indeed, the heat would be much welcomed, but would once again be exposed. At least the room seemed quieter now and when he moved, only Donnie's transport cage could be see, the female's still out of view...

Don smiled.  "Good."  He was a bit intrigued by her ability to feel certain energies but he would ask her when they were more private.

Shaking her head in dismay as she followed Raph, then ducked down on knees to reach the loer hatch which she noted she could probably squeeze in and out of - dragging in the pink my little pony bag and the stufs the assistants Ben and Jerry left for her, speaking to Raph as she does all this. "I know why she's here - and I hate hate hate it - it's barbaric... to be bred like fucking show ponies... but I'll do what I can to protect your choices in here" She vows leaving all the stuff aside from the two hair towels and standing to join Raph and begin drying him kneeling to start at his legs as she had earlier only this time with soft warm towels.

And the larger Turtle and his female friend were visible once more. She could see them through the bars and indeed, he seemed much calmer now. She gave Donnie's hand a small squeeze, remembering his anxiety level earlier when he could only watch as his brother mutilated himself. Seeing him now surely gave him some peace of mind. It certainly did her. and she was curious about the brunette girl that had such a way with the larger, more aggressive male...

Following like a lost puppy and feeling much the same, Raphael couldn't deny how amazing those lamps felt against his stiff, cold muscles. And the drying process was equally as comforting. Though, he still had not forgotten that he was in a fucking prison and these stupid people would surely go out of their way to torment them. And hearing Erica confirm what he suspected as far as intentions for them went. It was barbaric. And cruel, but there would be no animal activists to shut this down.. save for Erica, and he knew that she was scheming. "Whatever you do.. jus' don't put yerself in danger... okay?" He pleaded, muscles aching, legs wobbling from the fatigue of a drained body. He finally sat, unable to take it anymore. He just wanted to speak to his brother, make sure he was okay.. and see for himself that he wasn't horribly injured.

Don finally took his eyes off of Mei to see his brother was back in sight.  He sure looked better...at least much more than he did before he went back there.  Don had no idea about what went on in the privacy of the 'shower' area himself, but it seemed like this woman definitely had the right personal touch to help his brother.  And for that, he was extremely grateful.

"For you? I would face a horde of clowns." And she shudders just uttering the damned word. finishing drying his legs and tail just as he sat, pressing a light kiss to his cheek she moves to his shell and plastron now under the lamps taking note of all the cracks - the where and how big. "the Japanese fellows don't seem to mind what I do as long as it will mean the ..." She growls a little, "Product and future prosperity of the project is protected." She grumps a little. "I'm nothing but a well educated tool for their plans." And she looks over at Donnie. "Hello Donnie I am sorry we've not had much a chance to talk or you and your brother til now - uh..." She looks at Raph finally moving the towels very carefully over his neck. "Cloes your lovely eyes and I'll finish drying then get the cement ready... and moved those two so we can ... chat..." She encourages Raph gently - her mind three steps busier than her hands.

Donatello's relief was obvious, and it earned a small smile from the female. And she tried to stretch, seeking a more comfortable position in this darn kennel, but there just wasn't enough room. Still, she made no complaints, nor did she relinquish her hold on her new friend's hand. It was her only life-line. Her only form of comfort and she wasn't about to give that up.

Don used his free hand to acknowledge Erica. "Hi."  He smiled a little, anxious to be getting out of the cage and of course being able to talk more freely to all of them.  He had so many questions!

Churring ever so softly as the towel moved over his achy body, seeming to wake his stiff muscles as she went. "Of course.. because they won't keep anythin' or anyone around that ain't useful in one way or another.." And he glanced in his brother's direction as Erica addressed him, his features sad and regretful, for everything he needed to say, for all of the failures and blow ups and shitty temper tantrums. This could be it, and he'd wasted so much energy, ruined so many moments with his less than cheery attitude....

Smiling and instead of reminding the big turtle to close those eyes again Erica shifted the towel in her hands and carefully dabbed away moisture - then stepped back and ran the towel over her own form - though it was damp from Raph and barely dried her in the least, but it was at least enough - and brought her skin back from the icy white and her lips from the chilled bluish tinge they had taken on... moving towards the stuff again and wringing her dark hair free of the cold water as best she could. And then gathering the cement mix she wriggles out through the lower hatch moving towards Donnie and Mei's cages... uh cage and crate. And finally able to better introduce herself to the female turtle. "Hi... I'm Erica." and smiling kindly - not disrupting the hand holding.

Erica...  In Don's muddled mind, he hadn't connected the dots that this was the same girl he video-chatted with briefly at Leatherhead's home.  Back when...no, he didn't want to think about the reason why he was there.  But seeing her now, coupled with her saying Leatherhead supplied the blood Raph needed, a light bulb came on.  "Erica!  I remember you.  At Leatherhead's place."

Close his eyes.. he had forgotten and only realized a little too late, but to do so would have meant breaking visual contact and right now.. that's all he had. He watched as she wiggled out of the 'enclosure' to approach his brother, and the female he had yet to see...

Listening to the exchange between Donatello and the approaching woman, Mei watched, observing and when she greeted, offered a small, yet shy smile. Even though she knew this particular human was good and safe, the species as a whole had left a bad taste in her mouth. "I'm...Venus.." She finally introduced, her voice small.

"Thats right via web cam." Erica nodded to Donnie - and glances back to see Raph watching and she offers him a smile and wriggle of hips as she goes around to the crates opening. Her approach slow - the female turtles shy voice told her she was nervous, and maybe had not had a lot of kindness from humans. So... Erica offers her hand through the gaps to be shaken first. Putting herself at the other girls mercy - after all if she grabbed her or attacked Erica was at a disadvantage to stop her in this position. "I am sorry we could not have met under better circumstances. Are you unhurt from your travels?" her voice kind and warm.

Don kept holding Mei's hand, knowing she was nervous around other humans.  To give her some encouragement, Don gave her hand a gentle squeeze.  He knew Erica was good.  She had been nothing but helpful in any circumstance she had been involved in around them.  However, he still was extremely curious how she ended up working for Baxter Stockman of all people.

Venus Fortunately for her, Mei was not the aggressive type. especially towards someone she felt was genuinely good. The young turtle female hesitated for a moment, then took the offered hand with her free one, noting how soft her skin was, how warm and the compassion that seemed to flow through her. "How... did someone like you end up here?" She couldn't help but ask, and gave a small shake of her head at her question. "I am not hurt.." Not physically, anyway. "Sore, yes. The scientists fail to notice that I am not a Maltese."

[color=red]

Raph watched, catching the hip wiggle and managed a sideways grin. Man, fatigue was setting in now and he debated moving around, but just the thought  of standing... hurt.

Taking and gently squeezing Venus's hand Erica had no idea she could... sense things. And she squats uncomfortably glad she left her heels in Raph's tank for the moment. "Thats good... that your not hurt - sorry it must be cramped in there... I was going to fix Raph's shell and plastron first, but... you and Donnie are too uncomfortable for me to leave yous like this - would you like me to fetch a larger... god I hate this... cage? or would you be okay to go into the other tank with Don... if he is okay with it of course." She looks over at Don here too - she had noted the hand hold and if the two were happy with it ... then she would be...

"And how I ended up here is a longer story - I'll share it later... but I am as trapped as you guys here." A sigh...

Mei returned the hand squeeze, becoming more at ease with Erica and remembering.. there was still good humans. Hearing the offer to relocate her to another cage or... 'house' her with Donatello, she blushed profusely, dropping her gaze a little before looking at him. She would have asked, but knew from prior conversation that he wouldn't mind too terribly... "I would be okay sharing with Donatello...if he is also okay with it..." And hearing that she was trapped too, Mei pieced the situation together, at least she thought. "Then perhaps we can help each other..."

Don looked at Erica and nodded.  "I'm perfectly fine with it." Then he looked at Mei.  "And look forward to it."  He was blushing again but he had no way to hide it.  It was obvious he really liked her.  And he couldn't wait to hold her in his arms.  "I'm very ready to get out of here."

Erica And she did not have to look at Raph to know he was contemplating movement. "Try to be patient Raph - I will fix your shell and plastron and this time I can give you a little medication for the pain."

It was as if Erica could read his thoughts. Wow. And yeah, he had definitely been thinking about moving. Even made a small effort, but quickly thought better of it. "Hey, I can be patient.." Totally couldnt... never in his life! "All I got is time.." and a bunch of injuries...

"Alright then you two..." She casts a grin back at Raph. "I'll try to be quick." and.... then it was pushing and pulling the trolley jack with Donnie's cage on top bringing the cage tot he glass panel that opened.... and this took a lot of panting and even slipping right over flat on her belly once! "Whoa!" She yelps... Don's cage rolling and bumping gently into place. Erica rolls back to her feet - this had been easier with three humans pushin!! but the three turtles did not need the assistants in there gwaping at them. And finally the edge of cage and tank married she waits for Don to hop out.... taking this moment to try catching her breath.

Donatello Don felt bad for Erica doing this on her own.  He knew his size couldn't have been the easiest to work with...even with wheels.  But finally she managed.  Unfortunately Don had to let Mei's hand go while he was being pushed into place, but he wasn't worried.  Soon she would be right in there with him.  When the cage was finally in place, Don scooted himself out and held onto the side of the aquarium.  His legs felt like jelly as he finally stumbled inside then his legs couldn't hold his weight anymore and buckled underneath him.  Thankfully he had a pretty soft landing with the sand and rolled over onto his shell once more.

Mei regretted that she had to relinquish her hold on Donatello's hand, but knew that soon, they would be in the same area together and that gave her much needed relief. She watched as the poor girl struggled to get the cage into position, falling in the process. Apparently the human males she had seen earlier were good for nothing, but then again, she understood the human girl did not want their help.

It was hard watching her struggle so, and it worried him when she ell, but she rebounded quickly and soon his brother's holding cage was lined up, and Donnie was in his new space. Now he could see the small crate that the female was in, but still couldn't see her from this point. At least.. it looked as though Donnie wouldn't be alone in his 'enclosure'.

pulling the cage away was a bit easier - and in fact she had put so much effort into the motion the cage and trolley jack actually came at her faster than she expected and with another surprised sound Erica let go and scrambled out of it's way.
only when it had stopped did dhe lower the jack to get the cage off and then direct it to Venus's grate and jack it up... and again the pusshing and pulling - only this time she managed to keep her feet under her and get the grate and tank snugged before releasing openings so Mel can go it. still though the effort had her slip down the glass for a ten second moment of panting.

Mei felt horrible, and even  though she was tiny in comparison to the guys, hoped that she didn't weigh too much for the poor girl. And not a moment too soon, both of her prisons were opened and she crawled out, feeling the warm sand beneath her cold palms and knees, taking a moment to rebound, gaze taking in everything and locking on Donatello.. a shy smile at him as she managed to push herself upright, muscles aching from being crammed up for too long. She slowly approaches him, wondering what he thought now that he could see her... "Are you alright?" She asked him, and gives a glance at Erica, too...

Don smiled and reached an arm out to her. "I'm great.  Just...stiff from being drugged and crammed for so long, but...I'll live."  Then he smiled at Erica. "Thank you." Then he looked back at Mei.  "And you?"

And the trembling from her exertions passing Erica steadies her breaths forcibly, a trick she learned being a dancer - to regain her breath and endurance quicker. Offering Donnie, Raph and Venus double thumbs up to indicate she was fine - even if she was not entirely.

And despite her longing to actually stay there and let herself sleep - those few hours with Raphael seeming a week ago the girl gave herself a shake and pushed herself back to her feet. The big turtle still needed her care, she had sworn the first day they met during the sharing of the little trinket heirlooms that she would protect him and this counted.

That dew rag, rolled up had actually been looped about her thigh and until now had been hidden by the dress skirt, which now shredded and shortened as it were was visible in those moments when she bent or strained. Moving the crate out of the way now and scooping up the dental cement once more to begin mixing it and priming it for Raphael she had just been on her way back to him, bending to first shove the bowl of prepared stuff through the lower hatch and then wriggle through it herself - stopping half way when there was suddenly a blast of music and vibration from between her breasts. Her phone! and judging by the polyester girl ring tone - it was April!

"Well thats oddly pleasant." Erica mutters and wriggles the rest of the way back into the tank with Raphael, just as the phone buzzed out and beeped to signal a left voice message. Erica wanted to call the woman back, let her know where Raphael was... where Donatello was - tell her about Venus...

And was just placing things down beside Raphael, the new baggies of blood and tubings in the my little pony bag and the bowl of dental cement when her phone buzzed once more -

'My polyester girl - so shiny...' the ring tone again told Erica whom it was and she looks at Raph apologetically now beside him and one hand reaching between her breasts to fish her phone free whilst the other brushed his cheek. She was here... back by his side... both her knees bruised from her tumble before and the left bleeding a little. But she paid no heed to this as she finally pushes the button to answer. "April?" and switching the phone to speaker she clicks over to messages and thought hard about the contact number for Bonesteel she had seen on Baxters desk. Texting the man that his cage was ready for retrieval.

The text read; 'Cage empty - can retrieve, let know when outside so can bring it out - Miss Martins.'

Mei approached, wondering if perhaps he needed a hand up but figured first he needed to get his bearings. And the outreached arm, so welcoming and warm and.. despite her shyness, the little female closed the distance and dropped to her knees in front of him, her arms wrapping around him in a gentle embrace... a thank you or the kindness he had shown her. She had almost forgotten what it felt like...

"Thank you, Donatello..." Another tight squeeze, and she would allow it to linger for as long as he was comfortable, because this was unlike anything she had ever experienced before. His kindness practically radiated from him. He was certainly a rarity...

Don returned her hug fully, so glad to have her in his arms.  It felt so great.  "You're so welcome, Venus."  Then he whispered into her ear.  "By the way, you're very beautiful."  He smiled, blushing brightly but he wanted to let her know just how pretty she was.  He had a feeling she didn't know that herself.

It was fairly safe to say he had fallen for her.  If...if they were paired together to do...whatever...maybe it would work out after all.  With her consent, of course.  And Don had no intention of doing anything while they were in this tank.  He wasn't someone just to rush into a relationship.  Even with Love, she wanted to move a lot faster than he did.

Don's attention turned to Erica when she mentioned April's name.  Could it have been the same April he knew?  There was only one way to find out.  But it would have to wait until after she was off the phone.

Indeed, the embrace felt incredible.. unlike anything she had ever experienced before. It was far different from the soft and fatherly hugs that her human 'dad' used to give her. Being so in tune to everything around her, every little detail was vividly noted. The way his plastron felt against hers- the soft thud of his heartbeat underneath. A touch of excitement in its otherwise calm rhythm, indicating that he enjoyed it just as much as she did. And then came the compliment which caused her a moment of hesitation, eyes slightly widening at the confusion there. Was.. he speaking to her? Of course he was. It was deliberately whispered for her 'ears' and with such sincerity...

And then came the intense heat that seemed to invade her cheeks- a blush unlike anything she had experienced before. Oh sure, she had been embarrassed many times throughout her life, but this was something more. Shyness and uncertainty, never hearing this from anyone other than her father. The scientists made every effort to break her down, destroy her esteem entirely.

She shifted her head to meet his gaze, cheeks still bright red but managed an appreciative grin."And so are you.." Oh wow, did she really just say that?! "Handsome.." And now her face felt as if it would explode! She looked at him, horrified. "But that is not why I like you. You are very kind..." And there was a slight pause before she continued.. "I am sorry that you are in this situation... but I am happy to have met you..."

Raphael watched on with worry as Erica set about freeing his brother... and the female. Her little mishaps were noted, adding to his overall agitation with this situation, concern for both his brother and his new friend and curiosity rising over the mystery crate. Soon his brother was free and then soon after... a female turtle?

"Well I'll be damned..." So Bonesteel wasn't completely crazy, after all. He noted the differences, and how quickly Donnie and the female found comfort in each other. One small relief in all of this. Donnie was okay and was holding it together... and seemed to be in good company. It took a moment to fully remember what the scientists wanted and it caused his stomach to turn, knowing his brother and the girl were obviously intended to be 'breeding partners'. And what would become of the offspring? That is 'if' Either of them consented. And if they didn't? No.. they would have to get out of here before then.

Raph had plopped down near the glass, resting his forehead against the cool glass in an attempt to settle the overwhelming nausea from blood loss and his earlier upset. And then Erica returned, phone making noises, but he couldn't be bothered by that right now.. or anything outside of the fact that he, and his brother, were trapped like animals. He acknowledged Erica with a sideways glance, blood pouring from the multiple fractures and breaks, staining the sand below. His bloodshot eyes took her in, settling on her bloody knee.

"Don't worry about me... take care of yerself first..." He told her, swallowing thickly to clear his tightened throat. "That lil female ain't gonna go all preyin' mantis on Donnie, is she?'"

When Mei spoke, Don turned his attention back to the girl in his arms.  She felt just perfect in his strong embrace.  He didn't hold her tightly because he didn't want to accidentally hurt her.  He didn't want to hold her too loosely to give her the wrong idea.  He just wanted to comfort her.  And it appeared to be working.  Mei practically melted in his arms.

Her compliment made him blush and he noticed hers.  It only made her more adorable in his mind.  He gave her a wide smile.  "I...I am."  He's heard it before but this time it was reciprocated.  Don tightened his hold on her just slightly. "Thank you.  And so am I."

Strange feelings were swirling inside him every time she smiled his direction.  He was definitely beginning too understand what these feelings meant.  He had just met her and felt this strongly for her.  It both scared and excited him.  But the only thing he would consider doing right away was kissing her.  Maybe...if she allowed him.

Finally, he turned his attention back to Erica and her phone.  "April?"  He wanted to ask again if this was their good friend April or another April that was her friend.  If it was O'Neil, then they had a way out.  His other brothers could rescue them.  They just had to figure it out on this end.

Now it was just the waiting game until Erica could talk to him.

April wrote:
"Erica... please tell me Raphael is with you."

April's voice, tight with worry, would not distract Erica, nor would Don's question which she did what she could to answer with a light nod in his direction. Any more than Raph's words. She shakes her head and kisses those lips briefly kneeling down to begin work with the dental cement, working fast - she would have to just multitask and as such dropped the phone onto the ground. "No Raphael, your life is far more important than sore knees." And the unspoken, even more important to her than her own life - her voice announced as much, soothing and calm and soft for him alone, her fingers would communicate it in the light brush over his cheek and shoulder as she bends to reclaim the bowl of dental cement. "No, no I do not think she will hurt your brother at all, even if that was how mutant turtle mating happens." she assures gently with the merest breath of a chuckle.

Her eyes said it before they traveled from his to focus on her tasks. And first she would move around him answering April in a louder voice as she goes fixing the major bleeders first. "April... yes Raphael is with me, and so is Donatello - April we're ... we're in captivity... I mean they are..." though is may as well be, for as long as they were here she was effectively trapped with them.. She could not know at the moment she had said captivity - that her phone decided it had no juice left and flickered off ending the call. Though she did curse once she had moved around Raph to begin work on the less serious fractures over his plastron now the bleeding would be stemmed and spotted the blank phone screen. "No no no..." She mutters in frustration to herself not pausing - no recharging her phone would have to wait.

And this time she would not first smooth and polish the thick white enamel into the smooth contours of his shell and plastron - no once she had filled each crack she would now be giving him fresh blood - And he needed it fast so she found the cephalic vein on his opposite arm to the one she had the catheter in last time and slid the needle into place duct taping it down before moving to hook up one of the three remaining blood baggies. "You should lay down BigRed..." And she was mostly done for now - he just needed the blood and when stronger she would work on smoothing and polishing the new webbing of dental cement that looked like a lightning strike over his plastron and even more so over his shell - it would look even more so once she'd had a chance to clean it up.

Mei Pieh Chi: Indeed. The embrace felt amazing and natural and not in the least bit awkward. Mei enjoyed it full, but noticing that he was trying to communicate with the human in his brother's 'tank', she reluctantly released him to give him free range to do so. Even still, she took note of the 'gadgets' that seemed to laden the handsome Turtle's body. She knew that the humans would strip him soon. Even though she didn't fully understand what the gizmos were, perhaps one of them could aid in their escape. "Perhaps we should bury those..." She said, pointing to the tech pack and other various gadgets. "The sand should be deep enough over there.." And she pointed to the far corner near the glass. Who knew... maybe the scientist didn't notice his 'additions' just yet. Fat chance, but maybe.. just maybe luck would be on their side...

Raphael: Raph listened on during the very short convo with April, trying to be as still as possible as Erica worked on him, patching him up once again. What.. this was like the third time since they met? Unfortunately his new friend's phone died, most likely leaving April in suspense. Hearing her suggestion, he gave a faint nod and tried to get comfortable on his uninjured side, not wanting sand to dry into the freshly patched cracks of his shell. He had noticed the lightning shaped fracture in the chest plate of his plastron.. fuck. That certainly wasn't going away. But considering that he feared he would die here... he had no intention on leaving a 'pretty' corpse. "Guess Ape didn't get the full scoop...."

Donatello: Don looked on in hope as Erica talked to their April but then the conversation was disconnected. Don figured out what it was right away. If he had thought about it, he possibly could have helped her with charging her phone with his tech pack. Which, Mei finally mentioned and she suggested burying it in the sand. Well, it could work, he guessed. He didn't like the fact that sand could get into the controls, but he guessed he would rather keep it near him than possibly never see it again if they took everything from him. He gave Mei a smiled and nodded. "Yeah. That's a good idea, Venus." Then he slowly got to his knees because walking was still not an option and moved over to the spot, glancing back at her. "Would you like to help?"

Erica: "Try no to fret about the dental cement - it's all dry now... will polish it later - no... I hate to say it but I think I just left a very worried April hanging." Erica assures leaving him briefly to dart back to where he originally was and grab her other ordinary dress trying a knot in the open neck and stuffing it with bits of the grass and leaves as she makes her way back over. This made a reasonable pillow and she kneels to lift his head - slipping it under and glancing towards Venus and Donnie as she does so fussing over the tubing and blood now. "Wait - let me empty the bag there and you can use that to bury the stuff in... I have Raph's gear in my... cupboard - I can't really call it an office - it's tiny." She sighs. And for the first time noted what a mess she was... Red's blood, bits of dental cement on her skin here and there... hair a right mess, scraped bruised knees.

Mei Pieh Chi: Fortunately Mei wasn't as under the influence as Donnie, but being crated for over 12 hours, her legs still felt like jello. Also deciding that standing probably wasn't the best thing, she moved along with Donnie to the spot, and gave a small nod and a smile. "I would love to help you." And from what she understood, female Turtles were master diggers, considering that they had to bury their eggs and all... and the thought made her blush. She had never had a reason to dig before, but helping him was good motivation. She buried her hands into the sand and began to dig, occasionally glancing over her shoulder to make sure no one was watching...

Raphael: And he was grateful for the makeshift pillow, but regretted that she was exhausting herself over them. Still, it was nice to have someone that cared that much. Now laying down, the fatigue seemed to hit full force. "Thanks." He told Erica, his genuine gaze meeting hers. He had detected movement in the other tank, but eyes still too fuzzy to strain that far.

Donatello: Don smiled at Mei and also made sure no one was watching before partaking in the digging. He only stopped after the hole was big enough for his gear then waited for Erica to give him a bag. "Thank you, Erica. I appreciate it."

Erica: "Your all welcome - hang on..." She had no idea her weariness was starting to show, maybe in the increasing clumsiness of her movements... a trip here as she moved back tot he bag and took out the remaining blood packs moving to place them in the little flow through stream she guess was actually for drinking water, to keep them fresh... and now bag empty slings it on her back and deliberates - the labs would grow quite cold and she had nothing to keep Raph warm... then she recalled the sun lamp and with a bit of effort dragged it over tilting it to wash his spot in its warmth, then it was wriggling back out of the hatch and over to Don and Venus's tank, taking the bag over to them. "I will have to find another bag and do likewise for Red's stuff -"

Donatello: Don reached for the bag, giving Erica a smile then started removing his gear. "Well, the sand wouldn't damage his clothes. I just didn't want sand to get into the controls on my tech pack." Which brought another question to his mind. "Um, do you need to take my clothing, too?" He didn't mind so much with that if he couldn't bury it in the tank. He just wanted them back whenever this thing was done.

Raphael: Raphael watched with heavy eyes as Erica left the tank and made her way over to his brothers, still unsure of what was happening. Eyes fluttering, the heavy pull and he fought until it was impossible, especially now with the comforting warmth of the provided lamp...

Mei Pieh Chi: Mei continued to dig until the hole was big enough. Then the female approached. Though she had met her briefly before and her energy gave off nothing but good, it still made the female Turtle a little nervous, though she was doing her best not to show it. Aside from her father, she had not had any positive encounters with humans, after all..

Erica: Erica picked at a spot of the cement on her shoulder smiling at the two. "well no - but I recall days at the beach - sand in cracks is never fun." She shrugs and noting the slight look in Venus's eyes decided she needed to back off a bit again - "Um Donnie, Venus... once this is done I need yous both to try get some rest as well. You need to sleep off the drugs Don and you Venus no doubt jet lag... I know your probably thirsty too Don there stream through here I think is for drinking water... hang on..." She had not tested it before but goes over now and scoops some up sipping... considering... cold, fresh and clean. "Yeah its for drinking ..." She stands again on knees that trembled a little. "Okay a last check on Red then I got some... things to do..." Another sigh. But no complaints just gave the pair a grin and scurried back to the hatch to wriggle out once more and back over to Raph.

Donatello: After putting all his technology in the bag, there was still room for his clothing. Now Don had a dilemma. Should he put his clothes in there or risk having them taken away? Or...could he keep it. He doubted the scientists would want him to keep it on considering...what they wanted him to do. And...maybe it was best if he did take it off because it would be safe and out of the way. He glanced at Mei and blushed. It would feel so awkward being unclothed around her. But, if he buried it with the rest of his things, it would be safe. And Mei was also 'naked' so maybe it was for the best. Sighing, he started stripping, feeling himself blushing brightly as he did so. Finally he had everything off except for his mask and glasses then closed up the bag and put it in the hole, finally covering it with the sand. When that was finished, he brushed his hands off. "There." Then he looked over at Erica, nodding after she okay-ed the water situation. Yes, he was very thirsty. He heard the water running somewhere in the back, struggled to his feet and used the side of the tank to make his way back there. He had been wanting to explore this area anyway.

Finally having a moment to himself. Baxter went back to the basement where the turtles where. He walked in and looked around and noticed that the female was in the tank with one of the males. He walked up to Don's tank and knocked on the glass. Luckily he had not seen them bury Don's items in the sand.

Hello in there. I see you two have not killed each other. That is promising. Dinner will be coming soon. I'm not sure what you are use to eating. But I made sure that my cooks made the most nutritionist meals that a turtle should eat. Of course we are not sure what species of turtle you are. perhaps you can enlighten me on that?

Erica had just straightened and made her way back to Raph's side to check the blood tube and baggie when Baxter entered. She instantly feared the mans voice may set Raphael off again despite the exhaustion he was no doubt feeling and in pretense of checking him slipped her hands over his ear holes shifting to block the sight of him - not sure if Raphael was asleep or not and not willing to risk him again.

"Doctor Stockman - sir." She speaks to get his attention. She knew she had ignored him earlier but she had a turtle to keep from killing himself and Sammy to back Raph off of so others could help him.

Hearing Erica, Bax gave an annoyed sigh. He then put a finger up to her, telling her to stay quiet.

Not now. I'm speaking to the turtle.

The girl really needed to know her place. He was in no mood to hear anything his intern had to say.

Rolling her eyes so hard she could have sworn it was also loud Erica gave a shrug - it was possible neither Venus or Donatello would talk to Baxter and she still not checked if Raphael had gone to sleep or not.

But whatever she shrugs and goes quiet taking this moment to look about the tanks sandy space to plan where it was best to bury Raphael's gear when she gets a chance to.

Donatello: Don was slowly making it to the back of the tank and heard Baxter talking to him. Not being able to stand in one place yet, he fell to his knees, panting, his hand was still on the glass. "Red-eared...Slider..." he told him between pants. Then he looked up at Baxter. "What are you feeding us?"

Bax: "Well that is good to know. Oh I think it's a mix of some insects, leaves. Not sure what else. I have an expert turtle....guy on hand for that stuff. But he assured me that it was the best quality food. I do hope that you find your tank comfortable." Bax glanced over at Raph in the other tank. "I'll be taking your brother in a moment to another lab to work on him. In the mean time, I want you and miss to get to know each other better."

Daichi: He'd slid quietly into the tank room to view the captures - and felt some surprise their female was in one of the tanks already - but maybe the intern knew what she was doing in that case and he'd talk to her shortly about it. For now something Baxter said caught his attention. "Work on how?" He asks curiously stepping towards the man and tank.

Raphael: It was very fortunate for Raphael and all that was involved that the injured Turtle had lost his battle with heavy eyelids, because the sight of Baxter would have surely set him off! Fatigue from blood loss and the overwhelmingly odd but comforting scent of Erica had lulled him into a more tolerable existence...

Baxter: Hearing the voice of one of the Japanese men, Bax cringed. They got want they wanted...kind of. Just let him be! He turned to the man and gave a grin. "That is my business and has nothing to do with our arrangement. As you can see, your female is doing well, and the two should be making babies soon. No need to worry. Now. if you'll excuse me. I have work to do."

Donatello: Insects? Leaves? No way. "W-wait!" Don scooted closer to the glass. "We don't have regular turtle diets. We eat human food."

Mei Pieh Chi Still unsteady on her own legs, Mei tried to assist Donatello as best as best she could, but that uneasy, sickly feeling returned when the head scientist made his presence known. The energy that radiated from him was nothing but cold and uncaring. As Don spoke to the man, she took a step behind him, uneasy with being on display.. and with humans in general. But this one.. there seemed to be nothing good about him.

Raphael I live in a sewer, babe. You smell like roses. [wink] )

Bax: lol)

Daichi: Daichi blinked his eyes and smirked cooly - he'd done his home work on Baxter. "technically that those two turtles are property of your boss Oroku Saki - I doubt you put forth your own money to catch them. I have a proposition for you before you hack apart the big beast. If your so keen to do it a few weeks more wont hurt none." Americans - always rushing into things. "Sides this way there will be a stock of ... young to experiment with." He ignores both turtles in the tank eyes on Baxter.

Erica: Ee: huh never thought of it like that - fine smell away but don't say I did not warn you [big grin] ))

Erica: Daichi is an asshole - just putting that out there [tongue] )

Erica: Taking this moment to check on Raph - and noting he was asleep Erica decided she best stay right where she was and listen - and ensure none of the scientists smell or voices stirred the big turtle. Feeling her heart leap into her throat hearing the chatter - she gazes across at them listening.

Baxter: This guy was getting on his nerves. how dare he come into HIS HOUSE and tell him what's best. He looked over at Don then at the man. "You are right. He would belong to Saki. But he also belongs to me. I would like for you to leave now. I will do as i please with the mutant. Saki has no interest in making more of them. He's more interested in their mutagen. Good night." Bax turned his back on the man and face Don again. He considered Don's words then nodded. "Very well. I will request that you are fed a more appropriate meal." Bax then turned to Raph's cage and looked at Erica. "Prep that turtle to be moved to another lab."

Donatello: Don nodded then looked around the tank. He was basically back to square one. He had succeeded in making it to his feet once but after having to stop, he couldn't remain standing. Now he really needed to be on his feet again. Very slowly, using the glass to lean on, he stood up. "What is wrong with my legs?" he wondered out loud as he started making his way to the back of the aquarium again. He was deeply concerned about Raph. Move him? Why? He turned to Erica, stopping his trek once more. "Erica, where are they taking him?"

Daichi: "I don't think I will go anywhere - you have an opportunity to make a lot of money with our goals - and I daresay that would in fact interest you boss a lot." he was not afraid of the man - both he and Baxter where in the higher up levels of the science worlds he knew - and overall both where men of advancement of man kind ... and above that... money. "Especially as I am offering to pay for services of both males over a few weeks."

Erica: She could only shake her head in Donnie's direction - frightened for Raph and listening to the two men.

Mei Pieh Chi: Still trying to assist where she could and feeling incredibly helpless, when Donatello went down she sat beside him. "Perhaps you should rest.." She suggested quietly, knowing that overhearing the chatter, he was now concerned over his brother. She was too, even though she hardly knew him. He was one of her species, and up until an hour ago, she had thought she was the only one.

Baxter: If Bax knew these men would be this annoying he wouldn't have even bothered with the female. Yes the money sounded nice. But now it was the point of the matter. This man was trying to tell him what he can and can't do with his turtles. Finally he turned to the man and clapped his hands together, it was the only thing he could do to not try to strangle this man. "Sir. I respect that you have much money to waste on pointless projects. But you must understand, I am not interested. I have no intent to kill the turtle if that is your worry. I need to extract the mutagen from him and do a few scans of his body and head. I do not think this should be an issue for you seeing as it is none of your concern. now. leave me to my thoughts. Erica. Sedate the turtle for moving."

Donatello: Don didn't quite make it, falling to his hands and knees again. He looked at Mei helplessly. "I need...water."

Daichi: And the man grins - almost daring Baxter to make it more physical. "No killing - we can still use material - however a waste if beast is too sore or injured to do so, no such a thing wont hurt our plans, thanks thats mostly what I wanted to know." and he was happy with that - and perhaps he talk to the intern later - he had a ... job proposal for her... for now he turns and heads away to discuss matters with his fellow Japanese - they may need Bonesteels services once more...

Mei Pieh Chi: It hurt seeing him struggle so. But now that he was down, maybe he wouldn't try to stand again. "You are still under the effects of the drugs.." She suggested and hearing his request, gave a nod and searched for anything that could be used to transport water. There were plants all about and near the edges of the 'tank' and she quickly retrieved one, forming a funnel and scooped up as much as it would hold, bringing it back to him. She knelt beside hip, placing the rim to his lips, indicating that she would hold. Fortunately she had enough time to shake the drugs...

Baxter: good finally, it seemed the man understood. He still didn't like that Daichi seemed to have plans for his turtle. He started to think that maybe he needed to move Raph to another more secret location. But for now he nodded to the man thankful that he left. He then turned to Erica just as men with their dinner came in. The dinner men pushed trays through a small slit in the bottom of the door. Unfortunately it was the bugs and leaves. for now. "I will get you a better meal in a bit." He told Don as he walked to Raph's tank. "Is he ready?" He asked Erica, nodding to Raph.

Erica: Erica fights a frown - keeping her face impartial and carefully kept her tone blank. "I don not have sedation drugs on me." Why did he think she kept it in between her boobs with her phone and pager?! "But he is resting and ready to move for now." She agrees carefully using that strip of dress skirt she had ripped off earlier to replace her as a cover for eyes, ears and snout for the moment.

Baxter: "Good." Bax got on the wall phone and called some of his men to come get Raph. They took no time at all and soon had another, much smaller cage, to transport Raph to another room. They also had guns in case Raph got a bit fussy.

Erica: Watching them Erica says softly. "If you leave the dress in place Raphael should remain asleep - do you request my assistance?" She asks politely leaving the tank and stretching a little.

Donatello: Don gave up and sat against the glass, taking the water from Mei. He drank deeply. When he was finished, he smiled at her. "Thank you." Then he turned his attention back to his brother, frowning. "I...have to help him...somehow."

Baxter: Bax thought for a moment. If the big turtle got all pissy Erica being around would be useful. but, the other turtle seemed to need help too. "Erica. Could you please help the purple turtle for now, I noticed that he is having trouble standing. After you can meet us in room 206 on the second floor and help us there. If you don't mind."

Erica: nodding and relieved she could be there to help Raph - and immensely glad there was no immediate plans to dice him to pieces as of yet - and whatever the japs were doing may in fact buy him and Donnie and Venus some time Erica gave a nod. "Okay - I'll be down there ... in a hour?" a guess

Baxter: "that sounds good." Soon Raph was hauled into the cage and rolled out with much huffing and puffing.

Mei Pieh Chi: She helped him and when he was finished, sat beside him, leaning back against the glass and absently watching as the bugs and leaves were slid into their tank. This certainly did nothing for her appetite and was the reason why she stayed underweight. "Do you need more?" She offered, willing to retrieve it if he did. Hearing his comment, she frowned. "I am afraid there is nothing we can do for now. But take comfort in knowing he is a rarity, as we all are. They would not dare kill him..." At least she hoped that was the case.

Donatello: Don nodded to her. Yeah, he knew that. But he also knew that some people would love to dissect them. Don had never felt as helpless as he did right now. He appreciated Mei's help so much, and he wanted to find a way to return the favor. He eyed the plate that was slid into the tank and sighed. "I sure hope he brings something much more appetizing."

BDinner people: On the way to the new lab, Bax had contacted the kitchen and told them to feed the turtles something more human, but not a human! because that would be gross. So the kitchen whipped up two pizzas and got two bottles of mnt dew. Once the food was ready, they came back to the tank once again and slid the food into the tank then left.

Erica: She watched them go - her heart in her throat. And feeling less tired now for the moment she does what she can to clean Raphael's tank of his blood - and then wriggles out to return to Don and Venus's slowly approaching them both and stopped a few feet away as she knew Venus was still nervous about her. "Not yet - whatever the japanese what with your brother personally and with yous may buy us all time... what we need is muscle..." She ponders this and looks at Donnie. "I don't think there is anything wrong with you really just the sedatives are all backed up in your system... it will take time for them to be filtered out through sweat and urination." She speaks softly waiting for a sign from Venus she could come closer and check them both over.

Mei Pieh Chi: And Mei's hopes mirrored Don's, knowing that she was not going to touch the offered foo. But then something else was slid through the food hatch and while she had never seen anything like it, it smelled amazing! She reached to pull it closer to them, but froze ad Erica approached and she stared at her with that 'deer in the headlights' look, uneasy, but deep down knowing she had to give this girl a chance. She wasn't like the rest of them, she knew that. Could 'feel' that, but knew energy could shift as violently as the wind sometimes. But this girl.. she had never been a destructive 'storm'. Knowing that the young woman's hesitation was due to her fear, she finally gave a shy not as she pulled herself upright and seemed to melt into Donnie's side...

Donatello: Don nodded to Erica then caught a whiff of something that smelled wonderful...and very familiar. "Is that...?" Then he saw the food slide into the tank and his question was answered. "Pizza!" He couldn't help but grin. How did Baxter know pizza was one of his favorite foods? Don smiled at Mei. "Are you hungry?" he asked, slipping his arm around her.

Erica: coming closer and carefully angling so Donatello was between them - anything to make the female turtle more comfortable around her - especially considering what they were here for Erica would have to establish a firm friendship to work with her closely... and do what she could to protect the girl... The food made her belly ache in hunger and there was a rumble - which made her blush but she runs fingers gently on Don's knee - a brief brush - seeking consent to check him over for anything that could be wrong other than heavy sedation. "I am glad they are feeding you right - hopefully when Raphael gets back they afford him something better too -"

Donatello Don looked at Erica when she touched his knee. "It doesn't hurt. I just feel...weak. Like paralyzed, somewhat. What kind of drugs did they give me?"

Mei Pieh Chi: When Don placed an arm around her, any fear Mei had seemed to ease. He didn't seem unsettled by the woman and the closer Erica came, the more she could sense of her. It had just become second nature to fear all humans after her father passed. They had never given her a reason to trust them. But not all were the same. Hearing Don's question she nodded, but still unsure about the round food and hearing Erica's stomach she braved a glance, her deep blue eyes meeting the girl's for the first time.. "Would.. would you like some?"

Erica: Smiling at Venus and giving her head a slight shake Erica ignored the way her mouth watered, "No... that is for you both - I need yous strong, fit and healthy." and nodding to Donnie she ponders. "Bonesteel may have used a Dexmedetomidine based sedative which is often needed in cases of intubating patients... perhaps that is why there is paralysis... but it will wear off." She assures and at his words, even though it was not true consent she does a quick preliminary run over his legs with her hands to his feet.

Donatello: Don watched Erica examine his legs, nodding again. Yeah, that would explain it. He just hoped that he would regain that feeling soon. He hated not being able to walk. He could barely get around on his hands and knees. That pizza was smelling really good but he couldn't reach it where he was currently sitting. And he didn't want to ask the girls to get him some. He was supposed to be the strong and confident one. Right now, he felt neither of those things. Not when he couldn't control the movements of his own body. He gave each girl a sheepish grin. "Could...could someone bring it over here? Please?"

Mei Pieh Chi: Listening on with concern, Mei finally shifted enough to lean out and retrieve the food, pulling it closer to Don, along with the cans of soda. She was still unsure about the food, but the cans of liquid earned her full interest. She took one, giving it a small shake as she examined it. Sure, she had seen these before on the streets, usually discarded and empty, but her father had always believed in only healthy stuff. Water and occasionally juice and pizza... that was something she had never experienced before....

Erica: Smiling at them in a soothing friendly manner Erica stopped touching and sighs. "Careful not to open that one yet Venus, you shook it it may spray you in the face." She looks about and sighs again. She had to go. "I need to be on hand for Raph - I hate to think what he would do if he awoke at the moment... though he shouldn't bloodloss and all.... um I'll move the lamp so this space is warmed, try to eat and drink as much water as you both can... and then sleep." She stands and hurries to move and positing the lamp so they were flooded with its warmth. "... I don't know how long we'll be." She wriggles out of the tank and setting Ben and Jerry out side the doors to keep guard and totally forgetting her phone still in Raph's tank headed for room 206.

Donatello: Don smiled at both Mei and Erica, thanking them then reached for a slice of pizza. Then he looked at Mei. "Yeah, take the other one if you want some of that," he agreed, holding the other can out to her. As much as he wanted soda or even coffee at the moment, he figured he should stick with water until the sedatives wore off. Then, instead of eating the slice of pizza in his hand, he offered it to Mei. "Just try it," he encouraged her with a smile.

Mei Pieh Chi: Having never experienced the pleasure of a shaken soda before, Mei was a little confused about what Erica was trying to tell her. It would spray her in the face? That was... something. And then Don offered the unshaken one, but she would share it if he wanted. "Why... will that one spray me I am.. unfamiliar with those..." She admitted shyly, hoping that she didn't sound ignorant, but there was much she had not experienced. And speaking of which.. the food! And he offered her a slice which she took with a grateful smile, taking a little nibble, eyes widening as the heavenly taste erupted across her sheltered taste buds. "This is... amazing. What is it?"

Donatello Don smiled at Mei as she took the slice from him. "The carbonation of the soda will cause a chemical reaction once air can get to it. It's...not a pretty sight." He gave her a small grin. "It's called pizza. It's mine and my brother's favorite food, practically."

Mei Pieh Chi: "...Oh.." And Mei made a mental note to never shake a soda again. Placing the greasy but very delicious slice of food on her thigh, she carefully shifted the none 'upset' can, trying to figure out how to open it. It took a few picks at the tab but finally, success! She sniffed the contents before taking a small sip, the overpowering sugary taste causing her snout to wrinkle. Strong, but pleasant. Another small sip and she offered it to Donnie, along with a fresh piece of pizza. "I have never had anything like this.." She admitted, as it wasn't obvious.... "Brothers? Do you have more than one?"

Donatello: Don took the offered slice from her and nodded. "Yeah, I have three brothers." Then he took a small sip of the soda, swallowing before he continued speaking. "I'm glad you like it." Then he chuckled a little. "It seems to be a hit with all mutant turtles." Finally he took a bite of his own slice, savoring the taste. "Mmmm..."

Mei Pieh Chi: Without being too obvious, Mei watched him as he ate from the corner of her eyes, trying not to blush. She had never been attracted to anyone before, but he was a cutie... no.. very handsome. "I can see why it would be a hit... it is messy, but worth it." Indeed, perhaps the most grease she had ever consumed in her life, but this was not the time to hold back, especially considering that she usually avoided eating due to a poor diet. "Your brothers.. what are they like? Are you the youngest?"

Donatello: Don shook his head. "I'm the second-youngest. My brother Mikey is the youngest. He's quite...immature for his age, but he loves his fun. Then Raph, the one in that was in the other tank is my second-oldest, and a hothead. And then there is Leo, our eldest brother and level-headed leader."

Erica stopped by a water bubbler tape - the kind you may find in a high school only these meant for employees and staff and drank as much of the cold water as she could to for a while at least stifle the hunger pangs in her belly and silence them making her way to room 206 wondering what the hell Baxter would want her to do to Raph.

Hopefully he meant what he had said to the lead Japanese scientist and as yet had no plans to immediately butcher the big turtle - she would point blank refuse to even if it meant a horrific end of her own.

But maybe with the rivalry going on and all Raphael had a little time on his hands and that meant she, Venus and Donnie too - and those that may rescue them.

She knocked and politely slid into the room having not bothered to change from the now torn blood stained beautiful green dress, and barefoot as she had left the heels in the tank. but there was a paper gown and booties she slips into as she finds them so all contaminants be covered. "I'm here Doctor Stockman." She announces gently taking in the room.

Baxter was just finishing up with the IV and machine that would filter out the mutagen in Raph's system, not all of it of course. But enough that would be useful to him. And given the turtle's large size, he should be fine.

When Erica came in Baxter looked over at her and pushed his glasses up.

It's not that I don't like what you've done with your outfit. But, I rather think you should go home, Erica. You seem a mess, and I mean that in the nicest way. Go shower, eat, sleep. You can come back when you are cleaned up and refreshed.

He had wanted her around in case something went wrong and Raph woke up or they couldn't control him. But the girl clearly was over worked. and as much as he admired that kind of dedication, she would not be useful as a walking zombie.

I'm sure we will do fine without you for a little while.

"flattered," Erica sighed, she would prefer to remained, but in reality exhausting herself further would probably not do Raph, his brother or Venus any good and... Maybe a trip to the home front could be more than useful.

And she could get a few small chores done whilst out.

"okay... though for your safety I suggest giving the big fellow a dose of Dexmedetomidine, not a large one, just enough to keep him down during... This..." she was hesitating, and could not bring herself to refer to him as a beast a second time out loud. "and I suggest returning mutagen filtered blood to him, if you intend to milk him more he will need blood volume to replace mutagen." she was though backing away, to go... "good night Doctor Stockman. I will be a pager away should I be needed."

Baxter noted her concern and gave a nod as he had one of his men jot down her instructions. Of course. We will see you in a few hours. Good night, Erica.

He waited till she was gone to call one of his men to follow the girl and to inform him if she happen upon the other turtles. After, he got back to work, doing as Erica instructed and gave Raph the drug to keep him under while they preformed the scans.

They worked as quick as they could to get him back safely in his tank.

Erica knew the wisdom of sending her off to rest when she ran into the door leading into the aquarium room instead of opening it. She sighs and rests against the door way for some moments to let the smarting sting in her chin recede then opening and going in - smiling as she shuffles past Don and Venus's tank to Raphs to retrieve her phone.

"Try to get some rest guys... oh Don if yous still having trouble moving..."
She went in and out of Raph's tank having gathered up the heels and the phone and the make shift pillow and wriggle back out leaving this stuff for a moment in a pile and going to the few bins in the long dark room finding a few soft drink and water bottles gathering these and with difficulty slipping into the tank and carrying it all over to Venus and Don - "I'm sorry it's not a real pillow and I'll find your brother another one... here..." She stopped short of going close as she had before and placed things on the ground for Venus and Don - just within reach for them. "do try to eat, drink and sleep - it will make you feel better... both of you." And that was her biggest concern.

Then bidding them a goodnight for a few hours she wriggles out of the tank and quietly leaves taking BS's cage with her - heading out of the labs to the back park space....

Mei picked at her pizza, piece by piece placing it into her mouth and savoring the amazing flavors that each topping offered. The young female honestly couldn't remember the last time she had anything enjoyable to eat. It almost felt like a sin, but an indulgence that she would gladly partake in. After everything she had been through- she deserved it.

She listened as Donatello spoke of his brothers, smiling fondly of the different personalities that he described for each. Raphael. That was the big male that had bloodied up that tank. It was amazing that he hadn't killed himself and he probably would have, if not for the human female...

Just then Erica made her presence known once again and only for a fleeting moment was Mei uneasy- knowing the human didn't mean them any harm, but still trying to overcome her fear of humans as a whole. And soon she was gone again and Mei shifted her gaze back to Donnie, blushing slightly over her lack of courage around someone so nonthreatening.

"She seems nice.." Because that seemed to be the thing that she was supposed to say. And in truth, the girl did seem kind and compassionate. And then her attention snapped back to their earlier conversation about Donatello's family. "You are very fortunate, Donatello. Sometimes I wish that I had family.. it must be a great comfort to have those that can relate..."

Don was really enjoying his pizza, but was having more fun watching Venus enjoy hers.  He smiled at her at her comment about Erica.  "Yeah, she is."  Then he finished his current slice and started another one.  He was getting thirsty again and then Erica came back with some empty water bottles.

He gave them a quizzical look.  Those certainly weren't for drinking, he could tell.  They were already used.  Then it dawned on him and his eyes widened.  No...no he couldn't do that.  He just couldn't!  Not in front of Mei!  His cheeks darkened again.  No, he would try to make it to the back before it came to that.

The thanked Erica for the pillow and bottles (that he had no intention of using for that purpose) and went back to his pizza. He glanced at Mei and smiled. "When we get out of here, you're more than welcome to stay with us if you want."

Mei had a vague idea of what the bottles would be used for, and it caused her cheeks to flush, but she remained quiet on the matter... for now. She indulged in the bliss of this rare meal, enjoying her company. And what Donatello offered next took her completely by surprise, even causing her to stop in mid bite. Was he.. seriously offering her a place to live? A future outside of this? A home.... a family>

The female Turtle could not suppress the grin that crept across her features. "That is very kind of you, Donatello. Thank you. But... are you sure your family will not mind?"
